Teacher Bio

Greetings!

My name is Deborah Holley and I am excited to be your third grade teacher this year! I am originally from Louisiana but I have lived here in Georgia for the last 4 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Louisiana Lafayette (ULL). I also have a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Instructional Coaching, also from ULL. This is my 19th year of teaching having taught 5th, 3rd, and 2nd grades.

I am the 3rd grade lead teacher as well as the TAG (gifted education) teacher. I am a firm believer that any and every child is capable of learning no matter the circumstances. I will do my absolute best to ensure that this capability is fostered through engaging, standards- based lessons and activities. Student learning and growth is my number one priority.
