Meet the Counselor- Mrs. Miller

COUNSELOR'S CORNER

My name is Tawanda Brown-Miller and I am happy to be your child's school counselor again this year. Click on my VIRTUAL OFFICE for interactive counseling related resources. 

I have been working with kids in Henry County in the capacity of teacher, mentor, academic coach and counselor for over 11 years. This is my 8^th year at Stockbridge Elementary as the school counselor.  I will continue to provide your child with academic, career, and social/emotional support. Individual counseling, group counseling, core curriculum lessons, character education, and mini-meetings will be at the forefront. However, I will also support several other events throughout the school year, such as Kindness Week, Red Ribbon Week, Career  Lessons,  Career Day,  student of the month recognition, perfect attendance parties, and many more activities.  I look forward to nurturing our students and making sure that they have the communication and life skills that they need to become responsible and well-rounded individuals. Working with administrators, teachers, parents, and community members to meet the needs of all students is my number one priority. I look forward to another successful year!
