Career Clusters

Elementary school students work collaboratively with school counselors in three life domains: academic, career, and social emotional. Under the Career domain, school counselors help students explore possible careers as well as their strengths and talents.

 Kindergarten

Students in Kindergarten students are exposed to a general overview of careers.   

 First Grade 

Students in first grade students are provided information on these three Career Clusters:

• Agriculture, Foods and Natural Resources
• Law, Public Safety, Corrections and Security
• Transportation, Distribution and Logistics 

Second Grade 

Students in second grade students are provided information on these three Career Clusters:

• Arts, AV/Technology and Communications
• Education and Training
• Health Science

Third Grade 

Students in third grade students are provided information on these three Career Clusters:

• Energy
• Hospitality and Tourism
• Human Services
