Dr. Cedric Peeples

Dr. Cedric Peeples is a native of the state of South Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from South Carolina State University, a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership & Administration from The Citadel in Charleston, SC and his Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership & Administration from Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA. His Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) is in Curriculum & Instruction and was earned from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN.

This academic year will begin with Dr. Peeples’ twenty-third year in education. He began his teaching career in South Carolina as a 5^th Grade Math Teacher. Throughout Dr. In Peeples’ career, he has worked in many roles such as: Teacher, International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) Coordinator, Mathematics Instructional Coach, and Dean of Students.  Additionally, he has also coached football and baseball.

In his spare time, Dr. Peeples enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, cooking, and cheering for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide and his beloved Atlanta Falcons.

Dr. Peeples and his wife have two sons. Their oldest son is proudly serving in the United States Navy and their youngest son is in high school.
