Cynthia McClammey

Greetings TIGER Family,

Ms. Cynthia McClammey is a dedicated instructional leader who is committed to supporting student and teacher success. A proud native of Mississippi, Ms. McClammey brings a strong sense of community, resilience, and purpose to her work in education.

She holds a B.S. in Biology from Tuskegee University, a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction from Columbus State University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University. Over the course of her career, she has served as a middle grades science teacher, grade level chair, MTSS Chair, curriculum architect, and two-time Teacher of the Year. Most recently, she served as the Instructional Effectiveness Facilitator at Stockbridge Elementary, leading professional learning, supporting classroom instruction, and coordinating assessment systems to improve student outcomes.

The 2025–26 school year will mark Ms. McClammey’s 18th year in education. Her leadership is grounded in building strong relationships, using data to inform decisions, and supporting teachers through effective coaching and professional development.

Outside of school, Ms. McClammey enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three nephews and one niece. She also loves cooking, reading, and listening to human interest and motivational podcasts.

As Assistant Principal, she looks forward to continuing her service to the Stockbridge Elementary community by promoting a culture of learning, belonging, and high expectations for all.
